Who we are…
The Preschool at Red Mountain United Methodist Church believes in an integrated classroom setting where children participate in both teacher-led and student-led activities. We believe children learn best through hands-on, play-based experiences in a developmentally-appropriate learning environment.
Our curriculum focuses on the whole-child approach to learning, incorporating thematic units that bring lessons to life. Social, emotional, spiritual, language and literacy, science, pre-reading and pre-math skills are all introduced daily through center-based activities.
Our Preschool embraces and respects the diversity of all our children and families. We celebrate each child's uniqueness through their race, religion, ethnicity, and cultural background.
Our Preschool strives to provide a positive, fun, safe environment, which provides a high quality education with a balanced, progressive curriculum allowing each child to grow and develop according to his or her age.
